Como funciona um torneio de Times no Japão? Existem duas formas de conduzir. A primeira é o formato Asia Plus, onde só uma de cada limitada, duas de cada semi-limitada, e três das liberadas podem ser usadas por time, ou seja, só um dos 3 do time poderá usar Monster Reborn, por exemplo. A segunda é a Tradicional, que não tem essa regra. Os duelos são conduzidos da seguinte forma:
